How to Pay Your Lacey Township Ticket or Fines

The Lacey Township Municipal Court is in the lower level of the municipal building in the complex. There is ample free parking for visitors.

The violation window is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for payment of fines. If anyone is unable to make a payment at the violations window and does not want to mail in their payment, they are welcome to drop the payment in the drop-box, located outside, in front of the municipal building.
Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted for payment of violations at the violations window only. Payments for traffic tickets only may be made at www.njmcdirect.com. The Lacey Township Court code is 1512.

The Court Procedure at Lacey Township Municipal Court

If “court appearance required” is checked on your traffic summons, you must appear in court at the time and place indicated, even if you wish to plead guilty. Court is held the second, third and fourth Tuesday of each month with a morning and afternoon session. There is a night court session on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Mediation cases are scheduled on the third Thursday of each month.
It is important that you arrive to court early on the date stated on your ticket, summons, subpoena or court notice, and bring all of your documentation with you. Upon arrival, you must check in with the prosecutor to make sure you are on the docket. The court hears cases in a particular order, with those pleading not guilty without an attorney being heard last.
