Barnegat Light Municipal Court Judge and Staff

The judge presiding over the Barnegat Light Municipal Court is the Honorable Frank S. Salzar.  The Certified Municipal Court Administrator is Helen Jean Robinson.  The current Barnegat Light Municipal Court Prosecutor is Laura Benson, Esq.

Barnegat Light Court Days and Hours of Operation

Barnegat Light Municipal Court has office hours on Mondays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The Court's sessions are typically held on the first Monday of each month beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Paying Tickets and Fines at Barnegat Light Municipal Court

Barnegat Light Municipal Court only accepts payments at the courthouse in the form of cash, check or money order.  The Court does not accept credit or debit cards at this time.  Payments for traffic tickets only, however, may be made online at www.njmcdirect.com.  The Barnegat Light Municipal Court ID is 1501 when using this service.

What to Expect While at Barnegat Light Municipal Court

A court appearance is always required if you are facing criminal or DWI charges.  Additionally, you must also appear in court if you have received a summons and “court appearance required” is checked.  This is the case even if you wish to plead guilty.
