Court hearings for Millstone Township Municipal Court are conducted by Judge Thomas F.X. Foley, JMC. The court office is headed by the Court Administrator, Diane Canzanella, CMCA. She is assisted by the Assistant Deputy Court Administrator, Dawn Wattai.
Millstone Township Municipal Court Office
The court office of Millstone Township Municipal Court handles all of the administrative duties and daily tasks associated with court operations. Their main purpose is to handle payments for municipal violations, and to assist those who have questions about their summons or court procedures. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except on holidays.
Payments to the court can be mailed to the court address, or submitted at the office. Millstone Township Municipal Court accepts payment in the form of cash, check and Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards.
The NJMC Direct website at www.njmcdirect.com can be used to pay parking and traffic tickets, only if they do not require a court appearance first. You must pay with a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card, and a convenience fee will be charged for this service based on the amount of your fine.
Court Dates at Millstone Township Municipal Court
The court hears cases every Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., unless it is a holiday. The arraignments and first appearances do not start until 4:30 p.m., in order to give those who have entered not guilty pleas a chance to speak with the Municipal Prosecutor.
The reverse side of your ticket will detail the procedures for how to enter a not guilty plea. The court requires not guilty pleas to be entered 7 days prior to the court date or payment date stated on your summons.
