Vincent C. DeLuca, Esq. Becomes Certified Matrimonial Attorney

Point Pleasant Beach, NJ – Vincent C. DeLuca, Esq., a Partner in the Pt. Pleasant law firm of Villani & DeLuca, P.C., was recently granted the designation of Certified Matrimonial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Only attorneys who have met stringent qualifications achieve this designation which helps the public find attorneys who have demonstrated proficiency in particular fields of law.

“After a lengthy application process and examination, over five years of ongoing legal education requirements, years of experience in the practice of family and matrimonial law, and favorable evaluations by other attorneys and judges, I am honored to have received this prestigious designation,” said DeLuca. “In our practice, I am dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the high expectations of my clients and colleagues, as well as those of the judges that preside over these often difficult and emotional cases.”

Because this designation is only achieved by attorneys who have distinguished themselves by demonstrating a high level of experience, knowledge and overall skill in the practice of matrimonial law, and given the rigorous standards associated with obtaining the designation, currently fewer than 1% of all active attorneys hold any type of board certification. As of June 2012, 1,600 lawyers hold Board certifications out of roughly 72,000 active NJ attorneys. Of these active attorneys, only 0.002% have the Matrimonial Law Certification.

Receipt of the designation evidences DeLuca’s significant commitment to the practice of matrimonial law. As a Certified Matrimonial Attorney, DeLuca has been recognized as one of the leading practitioners in the field of matrimonial law throughout New Jersey. DeLuca is also a member of the Family Law Committee in both the Monmouth and Ocean County Bar Associations, serves as the Vice President of the Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group and has been admitted to the Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases.
