Vincent C. DeLuca named president of the jersey shore collaborative law group

Point Pleasant, NJ - Vincent C. DeLuca, partner of Point Pleasant based Villani & DeLuca P.C., was recently named President of the Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group. Founded in 2005, the Collaborative Law Group provides a platform for a collaborative legal approach to resolving divorces and other family-related disputes.

“The collaborative law process is based in part on a pledge of the parties not to go to court by utilizing the resources found at the Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group,” DeLuca explained. “It is a structured process that offers an alternative to going to court and gives the parties involved more control without the pressure and uncertainties that often accompany litigation,” he added. “The goal is to find solutions to the issues that often accompany separation or divorce rather than assigning blame, and to do that while maintaining the parties’ dignity and respect. With this kind of process, the parties can make thoughtful decisions that can work for the entire family.”

DeLuca, who has practiced and specialized in family law for over 18 years, is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney and also serves on the Supreme Court of New Jersey’s roster for economic mediators. As of July 2009, he is the only Ocean County, NJ attorney member of the Associates of Family and Conciliation Courts. DeLuca is a former Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Hayser, J.T.C t/a J.S.C. and was also an adjunct professor at Brookdale Community College.
